  1. Ashley's Comments on the Psion :

  3. Southease :

  5. - there was a thatched house (see photo). It must be expensive
  6.   getting the roof thatched. In France I saw some plastic thatch
  7.   on the houses.
  8.  
  9. - in one of the back gardens we saw a tennis court.
  10.  
  11. - at another house we saw an M reg. Mercedes, so some people
  12.   must be rich in Southease.
  13.  
  14. - there was a cottage called Rock Cottage (see photo).
  15.  
  16. - there was a cottage called Corner Cottage because it was on a
  17.   really sharp bend in the road.
  18.  
  19. - there was a bus stop and a bus shelter on the main road, but
  20.   I cannot see many people in Southease using it since I would
  21.   think they all have cars.

  23. - one of the bus shelters looked like an air raid shelter in a
  24.   video that we saw in class last week.
  25.  
  26. - there was a pill box in a back graden.
  27.  
  28. - a tractor passed us. Farming must be important because there
  29.   are a lot of fields and animals around.
  30.  
  31. - a lot of the houses had dogs.
  32.  
  33. - the porch of the church had a lot of travel brochures in it
  34.   and bus timetables. Mr Fanning said this was because the South
  35.   Downs Way was not very far away and a lot of hikers came up to the
  36.   church to look around (there was a youth hostel sign on the main
  37.   road).
